7 Arrested, Drugs Seized, Weapon Seized and Fraud Evidence Seized

On 6/9/21, at approximately 11:30 PM, the Selma Police Department and the Guadalupe County Narcotics Task Force executed a state search warrant at 9724 Chelsea, Circle, Selma, Texas. This search warrant was obtained as the result of an investigation into drug dealing and a fraud enterprise occurring at the residence. During this investigation 7 persons were arrested, including the two residents of 9724 Chelsea Circle. The residents, Phillip and Luz Holguin were arrested for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 between 4 and 200 grams(meth), 2 counts of abandon or endanger a child.
Other persons arrested were identified as:
Ariel Arredondo: Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 between 4 and 200 grams(meth)
Mark Sauceda: Possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 less than one gram(meth)
Jaime Garcia: Possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2 between 1 and 4 grams(ecstasy)
Richard Garcia Jr.: Possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 3 less than 28 grams, Possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 less than one gram, possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2 between 1 and 4 grams possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, Deadly conduct(arrest warrant), Unlawful possession of firearm by felon.

In addition to the narcotics discovered inside the residence, 4 marijuana plants were found growing outside in the back yard. Over 3000 items of identifying information were also discovered inside the residence, as well as equipment to manufacture ID cards and United States currency. Upon the completion of the investigation, charges relating to these items will be filed with the Guadalupe County District Attorney's Office. The information leading to this investigation stemmed from tips from members of the community.
The Guadalupe County Narcotics Task Force is composed of Narcotics Investigators, Detectives and Criminal Interdiction Units from the Cibolo Police Department, Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office, and the Seguin Police Department.
