The Communications Division of the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office is one of the most integral parts of our organization. The Communications Division handles all 911 and non-emergency service for the unincorporated areas of Guadalupe County as well as a couple of cities within Guadalupe County. We also facilitate 24-hour communications between the citizens of Guadalupe County and Sheriff's Deputies, nine volunteer fire departments, the Department of Public Safety, Texas Lutheran University, Marion Police Department, the Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Wardens, four Guadalupe County Justice of the Peace, four Guadalupe County Constables, the Texas Rangers, Border Patrol, the U.S. Marshals, the DEA, and any other agency that travels through Guadalupe County.
Each employee obtains a Telecommunication Operator Certificate by the State of Texas, TCIC/NCIC Certification by the State of Texas, and specialized training in the Computer Aided Dispatch through our own in-house training department.
